  3. Is this “project” world domination? Is this just step one of Namie – My plan to rule the world?

Seriously though great episode and some great advise. Circle of inspiration = JFOW!

Actually it’s just something fun that I can’t seem to get out of head. I am hoping you like it as much as I like thinking it up dood :)

  5. I don’t have structure.. I’m really bad that way… you make it look so effortless.

I must be ass backwards… I wrote mine after seeing some miscellaneous online web series from some guy in New York… I didn’t name the thing until the day before auditions… I got a buddy or two involved…
then most of the post productions stuff (free stuff) to help out.
(free is always good if you give credit to who created the original stuff)

(PS: I’d do Bennifer – at least twice.)

The name is just one structure piece. I think the main element is a vision for where ya want the whole thing to go. It is not effortless at all and nearly kills me every time I attempt it. Tis the life.

  7. This is excellent advice for folks starting out. In the machinima community I’ve been approached many times by people trying to recruit voice actors with no script in hand and no prior experience with in-game filming. So they have nothing to show that they’ll see a project through, and I’ve been burned twice by people not finishing projects. So I turn those folks down. I’m going to refer them to this video from now on! :-)

    Jeskid Reply:

I feel your pain as I have experienced it more times than I can say. People who go into creative projects half-hearted will only burn those with real passion to create in the end. It’s hard to differentiate who you are dealing with, but it is essential to making the most of your creative time. I certainly believe in your creativity as you are not one who takes it lightly :)

Thx as always for the “anonymous” support Elena. Been a tough time here as of late and beyond appreciated.

  9. Passion is everything. Passion, some talent and a lot of skill…but mostly passion.
