This live-action comedy documents the hard times of the world’s most famous team of superhumans. On top of battling ruthless super villains, the Super Force deals with office romances, a shrinking budget, and parking tickets on their Invisi-Jet. Created by and starring Sandeep Parikh (The Guild, Legend of Neil), with a revolving door of notable guest appearances including Felicia Day (The Guild, Eureka, Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog).

With the release of episode 1 coming on July 25th and every two weeks after that, it’s a bit strange. Every day since we started getting footage in, I’ve thought about uploading a shot or sequence just to get a reaction from the world, but have had to hold back. Finally, after a long crazy year, it’s right around the corner. We are almost there!

Will people like it? Did my master plan come out masterfully? Only time will tell. I think we did a great job and we still have a lot of work to do. Every frame needs to be cut exactly. The sound mixes have to be just right. The FX shots need to fit perfectly.

I really am lucky no matter how nervous this all makes me. I’ve worked with some amazing people again like Ayinde Howell, Chris Dimino and Erica Langworthy. I’ve made some great new friends and most of all – feel like I’ve grown as an artist.

I look forward to the release journey and couldn’t be more glad to have so many of you ready to share, tweet and like the work. Thank you a million times over for showing us the love. It’s an amazing thing to be on the receiving side of. Trust me when I say this – we won’t let you down.

Drawn by Pain is Excellent.  Tell all your friends about it!

I Recommend you take a look at Drawn by Pain.  It’s the new live action/Animated series by RT Community superstar Jeskid.  It’s some pretty cool stuff, and a hell of an idea.

This is a great indie wedisode that uses an animation/real action combo that is just stunning, especially considering 2 people put the whole production together!  Really cool project.

Drawn by Pain has an engaging and moving story line, solid acting in most cases and quality production value…The web provides a perfect platform for taking the kinds of ricks this director has taken.

Cool Anime swordplay and angsty pubescent drama in the streets of New, and pretty darn good…I love that writer/director Jesse Cowell and animator Erica Langworthy just went out and made this themselves.

This new Web comedy makes fun of our obsession with social networking sites. The main character, Denton, is obsessed with a social site called “Tweetfacester” and uses it to distract himself from the monotony of the workplace, as most of us do. The only thing is, his workplace is anything but monotonous; the guy’s a sniper. If you don’t enjoy it for the social commentary, you’re bound to dig the shoot-outs.

I had the pleasure of watching Status Kill a few weeks ago and I highly recommend that you do the same right now.  Jesse is clearly intent on continuing his streak of awesome productions.

I know that you may not get the chance to see The Book of Mormon, but still want to see why I think Josh Gad is so funny. I’ve got you’re back. Let me share with you a BRILLIANT web series he’s in called Gigi: Almost American. He plays Gigi, an ambiguously foreign man placed in silent film-esque premises. It has made me cry laughing multiple times.
